The Joy of Children

“You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating  curiosity,  he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.”

There is nothing better than seeing a child’s face light up with pure joy and excitement. This week was filled with smiles, laughter, curiosity, and knowledge.  From educating high school students on Earth Day, to reading to seconders graders, to educating first graders about the difference between mammals, reptiles, and birds, to a jam packed bird learning afternoon with third graders. I could write a five page essay on everything that took palce this week….. but instead…I’ll show you highlights of this week. After all, they say a pictures says a million words.
