Balancing Act

When a seed of a flower is first planted, that seed has to decide the appropriate time to germinate.

If the flower blooms too soon, it may freeze, or be the first thing to be eaten by hungry animals.

If the flower blooms too late, it risks not having time to mature to spread its seeds, or having more competition for things necessary for life. It is a balancing act of having the right conditions, at the right time.

For me, my life does not work like a flower, but I still have a huge balancing act to play. Learning the time management skills that are needed to be able to study and pass my classes, while having time to get my job done, seems nearly impossible at times, but somehow it all seems to work out just right.

I am hoping that like a flower, through this journey I will bloom and grow into my full potential where I can make a difference in my world.
