An opportunity to make a dream come true, being an intern for Environment for the Americas has changed my life. I am Denise Monge, a college natural resources student, gratefully participating in a conservation internship.
First, let me tell you a little bit about me… I was born and raised in San Jose, which is the capital of Costa Rica. Since I can remember, I have been fascinated by the incredible nature and its infinite life variations and beauty. As a consequence, I want to be a biologist. I was unable to study this field when I was in Costa Rica, but fortunately, my family moved to the U.S. a year ago, which provided me the chance to move with them, too. Now, the U.S. and EFTA have brought me an amazing chance to follow my dream work as an intern in the state if Washington with Team Naturaleza to spread this opportunity to learn about nature with others with dreams like mine.
