Usually this site is reserved for Environment for the America’s (EFTA) interns, but an important event is approaching, and I wanted to take the opportunity to recognize them all for their hard work. Not only are they conducting shorebird surveys and leading education programs, they’re also getting ready for one of the biggest bird celebrations in the world.  International Migratory Bird Day is a hemispheric celebration of migratory birds and their conservation. Activities take place from Canada to Argentina and the Caribbean, and EFTA interns play a critical role at their sites planning, organizing, and hosting IMBD programs and festivals. Their jobs are big, and we appreciate their enthusiasm. If you want to meet one of these fabulous interns, join them at an IMBD event this spring!  Susan Bonfield, Director
