This is My Sanctuary, This is My Home

Another stressful semester of school has come and passed, and now it feels as if the air is still. Everything is relaxing from the high tension.

Another bird survey has come, and as it was passing by this morning, I couldn’t help but breathe in the fresh air, hear the birds, and feel the warm sun. It always reminds me that no matter how difficult things can be, there is always something to look forward to, something to enjoy, and somewhere where you can find yourself. I have done this in the San Luis Valley. I have found where I belong. I am not talking about a geographical location, and I haven’t really traveled enough to figure that out. I belong in nature and working under the sun, at least for a while. I am meant to share a message. I am meant to be me.

Fortunately, during the summer is when I am most myself. So as these blogs continue, I would like to introduce you to someone who is passionate, loves nature, and is already having a blast with this internship. Over the next few weeks, I would like to introduce you to Tayler.

There is nothing like the colors of a sunrise, the majesty of the mountains and the quiet chirp of a bird to help us appreciate the complexity and perfection of God’s creation. I love your perspective and the joy you have in what you do. Love ya!
