My name is Jhonnattan I was born in Colombia but I grew up in Ecuador. I consider myself lucky because I had the opportunity to grow up in such diverse countries, allowing me to appreciate the incredible biodiversity of the neotropics and the necessity of implementation of conservation programs.
Since I was a child I have always been interested in nature and wildlife. I remember myself watching documentaries of famous naturalists, hoping to become a naturalist. Later, I discovered the importance of gathering information from biological systems to educate people. Then, I understood that scientific information is recorded through exhaustive scientific research.
In order to understand where mankind is going, humans must understand our past as species. We are the result of millions of years of interactions with the environment and species that coexist in different ecosystems. Therefore, it is important to study all the biological aspects of existing species. My main goal is to contribute to science with the development of biological research projects. In order to allow communicators to transmit scientific information to the general public.
