Hi all!

Wenatchee weather has been so beautiful lately in the valley that Team Naturaleza decided to have a Free Fishing Day at Beehive Reservoir! This event was put on so anyone could join us to fish, no licence or experience needed! This made for a fun family day out! Beehive Reservoir is located 8 miles from Wenatchee and it is a well-known fishing destination.

It was a nice sunny day with the occasional breeze. The pine trees surrounding the reservoir make for fantastic shade and great photo opportunities. We had a lot of first time fishers come out to see what it’s all about. We had about 90 fishing poles to circulate throughout the day and they were all in use! My favorite part of this event was seeing kids fish for the first time with their families because I have fond memories of fishing with my family as a kid.

A very enthusiastic mother and son fishing for the first time!

Three brothers gather for a photo with their first catch of the day!

My favorite part of the event was walking around the reservoir and talking with families about fishing and Team Naturaleza. Everyone learned so much about fishing laws, how to fish, and how to clean a fish once it has been caught. I am constantly so inspired by our community that just loves being outside! I look forward to more days like this!

Thanks for reading
