Celebrating Birds

In 2012, EFTA began building partnerships with governement agencices and non-profirs to provide shorebird conservation internship experiences for Latinos. This internship program addresses EFTA’s desire to increase diversity within natural resources while conducting long-term bird conservation studies. This internship program was formerly known as Celebrate Shorebirds, but since then it has evolved and expanded. Although the past internship focused on shorebird and avian conservation, we welcome and have integrated any nature-based educational programs.
